Larson Ice Center

The Larson Ice Center is a two rink facility that is owned and operated by the City of Brookings. The facility was newly constructed and finished in the Spring of 2002,  throughout the years there has been several renovations, some completed as recently as the Fall of 2019.

Serving as the home to the Brookings Ranger and SDSU Jackrabbit hockey teams, the Larson Ice Center has a seating capacity of approximately 1,500 in the main (Red) rink and 600 in the second (Blue) rink. There are ten locker rooms, with showers and bathrooms provided for all. The facility is also fully outfitted with large heated viewing areas, upper and lower level lobbies and an upper level concession area as well.

The Larson Ice Center is open to the public for recreational ice skating during specified hours, and private rentals are also welcome. Please call the numbers below if you need anymore information.
