Welcome to the 2024-2025 Brookings Hockey Tournaments Registration

Thank you for considering Brookings SD for your hockey tournaments. Brookings is a Hockey friendly community just 15 miles west of the Minnesota border with 20,000 residents and the campus of South Dakota State University.

All tournament games are played at the Larson Ice Center, the state-of-the-art home of the Brookings Rangers and SDSU Jackrabbits. It was built in 2002 with roomy seating capacity for over 3000 fans on two competition size sheets of ice with spacious heated viewing areas behind glass overlooking both rinks. A full concession stand serves a wide variety of food and beverages. 8 heated locker rooms with bathrooms and showers provide a comfortable environment for pregame preparations and between-period adjustments.

Local accommodations include several national branded hotels with indoor pools, an assortment of restaurants for all tastes, and plenty of shopping for between games.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Once you have received an email confirmation that your team has been registered for the tournament, there is a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you withdraw your team within this 48 hour window, 100% of your registration fee will be refunded. However, if you withdraw from the tournament after the 48 hour window for any reason, your registration fee will not be refunded. 

This policy is to ensure that teams on the ‘waitlist’ have a reasonable amount of time to plan and make necessary travel arrangements if a team chooses to withdraw from the tournament.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
The tournament schedule will be released two weeks prior to the tournament. It will be sent out via email to the contacts we have for each team and it will also be available on the Tournament Schedule online.  The earliest scheduled game for this tournament is at 12:00 PM on Friday and the latest scheduled game on Sunday is 2:30 PM.
